TENET:

“Alleviate Immediate Suffering”

(Physical, Emotional, Mental)

Ethics demands that WE do the following quick but thorough assessment of not just Sitters but of every single person he meets.

The objective of Higher Power Reading’s Tenet is to quickly and thoroughly determine if the person we are interacting with is suffering in any way – Physically, Emotionally, or Mentally – and do whatever is necessary to help alleviate immediate pain.

Higher Power Readings and its adherents are Physical, Emotional and Mental TRIAGE: we immediately jump into action and do what we can to identify if someone is in pain and what we can immediately do to help facilitate relief.

The Goal:

Specifically determine if there is suffering Physically, Emotionally, or Mentally and what you can do to help.

  • Physical:
    • Are they in physical pain?
    • Are they safe?
    • Are they Hungry?
    • Are they physically ill in any way?
    • Are they in any physical danger?
  • Emotional:
    • Are they in any Emotional Distress?
    • Important: Determine if the Emotional Distress is a Crisis or a Concern (CC) and act accordingly.
    • Are they frightened?
  • Mental:
    • What thoughts are causing them immediate cognitive distress?
    • Do they seem rational? Are they making logical sense?

The Goal is to quickly determine if the personwe are communicating with is suffering or needs help in any way and what we can do as an Empathetic and Caring Friend to help them feel better A.S.A.P.

IDEOLOGY:

“Protect Yourself”

When flying on a commercial airline, if the cabin loses pressure and the oxygen masks are deployed, airline policy is to first put on your own mask before helping others.

If you are hurt, injured, or compromised, your ability to defend yourself and coordinate an offensive is severely limited.
